On the Wine Side - Triple Point Summer Wines

Thu, Aug 31, 23
Don't you love when you discover a great wine and it's also a great value? There are many of them in the store, it's true, and the current line-up of Triple Point wines is no exception. The "Triple Point" designation means that when you buy one of these bottles, you're earning triple the Club Card points for it.

These selections are also "Sourced and Certified" wines, so if you buy six or more, you get an extra 10% off. Make the most of what's left of summer with these stand-out Triple Point whites and a Prosecco.

Midsommar Gruner Veltliner

This Austrian wine has everything going for it - some citrus, some floral, even some white peach. It's truly a party on the palate, with every sip offering something different. If you want to wake up your white wine repertoire, give this Gruner a try.

Moxo Vinho Verde

Portugese Vinho Verdes are classic summertime wines. At around 9% alcohol by volume, they're nice and light. They have a characteristic effervescence that's refreshing, and they're known for their bright acidity. This one has all that, with a zingy lime note on the finish.
Antale Pinot Grigio Valdadige

Italian Pinot Grigio is the perfect patio wine. It's like the guest at a party who gets along with everyone. This bottle can be relied upon to give you the Pinot Grigio experience - light, level, easy-drinking, slightly citrusy but not sharp with clean apple and pear notes.

Sandpiper Sauvignon Blanc

This wine had me when I saw the label. I love sandpipers! The wine is no disappointment, shining through with that delightful grapefruit note on the finish that defines a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Oysters, anyone?
Kreuznacher Weinhaus Piesporter Kabinett

My goodness that's a mouthful of a name, and it's a mouthful of a wine. This German Riesling is wonderful - smooth and creamy with notes of ripe honeydew and pear, and just the right sweetness on the finish.

Bella Notte Prosecco

Whether you're making spritzes or mimosas or you like your Prosecco straight, the Bella Notte is there for you. It's an extra dry offering, so it's on the sweeter side, making it especially party friendly if you're not mixing it. Prosecco is so popular for so many very good reasons.
Dave and I are looking forward to resuming wine education classes in September and October. And of course all of us at Exit 9 Wine & Liquor Warehouse are happy to help you here in the store. Don't hesitate to ask us for help finding your next favorite bottle of wine. Cheers!
