There are so many special wines in the store, and a couple I've tried lately have reminded me how much I like blends.

I couldn't resist the value and ratings on the d'Arenberg The Stump Jump Red from Australia. It's a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre that jumps out of the glass with a nose of red velvet cupcake but on the palate has notes of everything from spice to currant to dark cherry - it's soooo goooood - and just $10.97/bottle. Look for it on the Highly Rated rack in the middle of the store or in the Australia section.

Then there's the fabulous Chenin Blanc + Viognier blend from Pine Ridge Vineyard in California. The description on our website says it all: Crisp, bright, and vivacious, this wine is an aromatic white blend boasting a bouquet of honeysuckle, lemon & lime, yuzu, and ginger spice. A stand-out wine at a(nother) great price - $13.21.
